The Organic Pharmacy’s story begins over 27 years ago when their founder Margo Marrone started as a Saturday girl in her local pharmacy. This experience made her decide and study pharmacy where six years later Margo then embarked on her career as a pharmacist specialising in herbal medicine, nutrition and well being with a focus on natural and alternate medicine. It wasn’t until several years later that she discovered homeopathy, a form of medicine that completely changed her life and that of her family.

Whilst studying homeopathy she became aware of Organic and what it meant. After discovering the kind of chemicals many products out there included she decided to use her herbal, homeopathic and pharmaceutical knowledge to create a shopping haven free from chemicals found in other stores, a place where expert knowledge on well being, herbs and homeopathic remedies were readily available. She took the idea to her husband Franco whose design skills and vision turned The Organic Pharmacy into a modern day health and beauty centre.

The principles were very simple, the best organic ingredients, honest expert advice, quality service, incredibly effective products and a caring environment. Their first store opened in 2002 in London on Kings Road and today they have stores and distribution all over the world.
